Shree Sanwaliyaji Yearly Events
1. Navratra-sthapana (commencement of Navratra) on Chaitra Shukla Ekum
March-April).
2. Bevan yatra of Shri Sanwaliaji (procession of idol carriers) at 9:15 p.m. on Nirjala Ekadashi Jyestha Shukla(June).
3. Birthday celebrations of Lord Krishna at midnight of Janmashtmi Bhadrapada Krishna (Aug.-Sept.) Panjiri Prasad is served.
4. Rath Yatra (procession) of Shri Sanwaliaji along with exotic exhibits beginning at 2 p.m. on Dashmi Bhadrapada Shukla (Aug.-Sept.).
5. Rath Yatra of Shri Sanwaliaji with exhibits beginning at 12 noon on Ekadashi Bhadrapada Shukla (Sept.).
6. Bawan Jayanti is celebrated during Bhadrapada Shukla by displaying 'Bevan' in front of the temple (Sept.).
7. Arti of Shri Sanwaliaji is performed at midnight of Purnima Ashwin, Sharad Purnima (Oct.) Then, Kheer is offered to the Lord (Bhog) and served as prasad to devotees.
8. Worship of Mahalaxmi (Mahalaxmi Poojan) is performed at 12 noon on Chaturdashi Kartik (Oct.-Nov.), followed by serving of 'Prasad'.
9. Holy-loot of 'Annakoot' is organised at 9 p.m., following cow-worship at 5 in the evening, outside the temple on Annakoot Parva during Kartika Pratipada (Oct.-Nov.).
10.In the morning of Panchami Magha Shukla-Basant Panchami-(Feb.), Shri Sanwaliaji is adorned and arrayed with mango leaves and worshipped with 'gulal'.
11.On Teras (13th day) of Phalgun Krishna (Feb-March), Rudrabhishek is performed during the day, followed by Mahashivratri Poojan (worship of Lord Shiva) at midnight Then, prasad is served.
12.On the first day of Chaitra (the day of phool-dol festival during March-April) a Brahmabhoj (grand feast) is arranged in dharmshala at 6 p.m. At 10 p.m.
Aarti of Shri Sanwaliaji is performed with a bhog of phiki-mithi (unsalted and sweet) pakoris, followed by serving of prasad.
13.On every amavasya (the night of the amavasya (the night of the new moon ), a Brahmabhoj (grand feast) is arranged.
